Painting is a cultural tradition kept alive by Bidjiwong artists. Our Artwork depicts our strong personal feelings of a system of traditional knowledge passed on to us from our elders. Themes throughout our Artwork express the stories and traditions that we have encountered in our journey through life.

As a family we feel responsible to maintain and pass on this important tradition, so that we can share and communicate our stories to current and future generations.

Kristy Naden, our daughter, is a very fine artist. Styles and designs incorporated by Kristy, and her use of vibrant colours, makes the art come alive.
